That’s a wrap!

We had a 10am check out, so we packed up, and we got out of the house at 10am, but not before taking this group photo.

Before heading back to Vancouver, we went to a Mediterranean Market, where they have freshly made sandwiches, a bunch of Italian goods, and a deli. We got a few sandwiches to share. It was good, but very filling!

Some of the other families went to get some Okanagan fruits.

I went to grab a cup of joe at a local coffee shop called Bright Jenny.

We went to quickly charge our car after that, then we were on our way back to Vancouver. We decided to make a stop at the Othello Tunnels just outside Hope (we went there with the Foos quite a few years ago when we were coming back from Revelstoke). The Tunnels were closed for 3.5 years due to extensive damage from the November 2021 atmospheric floods. They just fully reopened the tunnels in June of this year!

It was hot! I think Hope was 35 degrees. Just smoking hot. We sure were glad that the heat wave started on the day that we left!
