Slept in!

I think most everyone slept in today. I know I got up at 10am, and most everyone kind of slowly woke up thereafter. Jimmy T and John were up pretty early, but most everyone else slept in from the previous evening’s late night activities.
Some of us had some instant noodles for breakfast, while most others didn’t really eat until lunch. James and Christina went to do some grocery shopping, and they picked up some New York striploin steaks to make for the kids! Spoiled kids indeed!

Meanwhile, the dads had a tee time at Michaelbrook Golf Course. Jimmy T, James, John and I had a great time playing the executive golf course.

Meanwhile, the kids stayed home and went to the beach nearby, and they also played some beach volleyball. They lost the volleyball in the lake, and Matthew and Connor had to swim after it. It was going further and further away from the shore, and Connor said, “That’s my Dad’s ball. He’s had that ball forever, we have to get it back!”. Awww, Matt and him swam out there to retrieve the ball and get it back. I told him next time to just leave it!
Here you can see the ball in the lake (near the shoreline at this time).

They played some xbox too:

Some of the moms went to buy some cheese and meats, and also stock up on some adult beverages (also had a stop for some coffee).

We eventually returned from golf, and we got ready for dinner. Tonight, the adults would be eating at a restaurant called Humo (Japanese fusion restaurant), and the kids would be on their own.
The kids ended up at a ramen restaurant. Isla said the gyoza was really good.

They finished off their meal by walking over to an ice cream food truck that served hand rolled ice cream.

As mentioned, the parents went to a restaurant called Humo.

Post dinner selfie before meeting up with the kiddies.

After we met up with the kiddies:

We then went to get ice cream for the parents at a joint called Parlor. Jen is a big fan of this ice cream shop. So am I! They have a really good, toasted coconut flavour. Outside Parlor, they have some games that you can play such as cornhole, Connect Four, etc.

The night was still wasn’t over though, for when we got back home, the boys played some more poker, and the moms went to the rooftop patio to enjoy the hot tub. The younger girls, enjoyed the hot tub on the rooftop patio of the other house! Here’s a photo where you can see the younger girls peaking their heads over the wall from the other house.

Then we sat around the fire and wound down for the evening. That was it! Another late evening!
