Spa Day!

We needed to use some of the credits that we had available to us, and we had some free manicure and pedicures to use, so that’s what we did on this day. Lisa and I woke up around 10:30 to go to the spa early for our 12pm deep tissue massage. The spa here consists of a hydrotherapy area, where you can take advantage of a sauna, a cold room, a steam room, and some heated stone relaxation chairs where you lay there with cucumber slices over your eyes, and eucalyptus spray applied to the body. Yeah, all very relaxing. There’s also the co-ed pool area, with a cold plunge pool, and a hot plunge pool. We partook in the hydrotherapy portion, then Lisa and I had a couples massage in the same room with 2 therapists, for an 80-minute massage. I fell asleep during the treatment. It was all very first class. I do prefer a massage at a Chinese place back home, where the Chinese massage ladies use way more pressure. Regardless, it was free, so hey, what the heck. After the treatment, Lisa and I spent 45 minutes in the co-ed pool area, where I swapped between the cold plunge pool and the hot tub. I highly recommend it. It’s a shock to the body, but very refreshing.

Here we are chilling on a bed in the pool area:

I showered, and went outside, to get ready for my 2:30pm pedicure. I got my feet pampered for 25 minutes. My feet have never looked so good. lol

Isla and Connor also met us at this point and time, and they also got a treatment. Connor got a pedicure like myself, whereas Isla was able to get a manicure and a pedicure. Spoiled indeed!

Check out Isla’s tiara.

Tyler and Riley also had manicures!

I went to the pool again to get some sun.

I then met up with the crew at Los Tacos to have a really late lunch. Their fish tacos there are great.

Then we went 10 pin bowling!

They also had a pool table there, and some American bar food.

We walked back to an area near our rooms where they were having a buffet and a Mexican wrestling event! I was able to catch a selfie with one of the wrestlers. lol The wrestling was pretty entertaining, amateur, but nonetheless entertaining.

The adults went to dinner a Peruvian restaurant called Cusco. It was meh.

The kids on the other hand went to a restaurant that wasn’t here 2 years ago. A circus themed restaurant called, Circus (of course). Connor had lasagna and burrata, while Isla had fish and chips.

After dinner, the kids went to the arcade, and then we all met up at the games room again. Another evening of big two, and card games, and code names.

That was our Tuesday here. The days are coming and going too fast. I’m enjoying my time here immensely. This vacation is serving its purpose of rest and relaxation. I’m getting sad, knowing that we are more than halfway done. Until tomorrow!
