First Shift – Isla

Isla’s a trooper. I signed her up for First Shift, which is a Bauer sponsored event to get kids to try hockey. Bauer gives you a new set of hockey gear (head to toe), and then they partner with the Richmond Minor Hockey Association for 5, 1 hour on-ice sessions. Isla was able to try ice hockey for the first time because of it, and for a reasonable $200!

She did pretty great! I would estimate that there were around 50 kids on the ice, and she was one of 2 girls. Proud of her!
