Happy birthday Isla!! You are 5!!
Our baby girl is no longer a baby! This is the first year she really wanted have a party so we did! We invited a bunch of her friends and hired an Elsa princes to come by and entertain them for a couple of hours. She even had a coronation!! I think Isla was a bit embarrassed about all the attention but I think she had fun!
What is she like at 5 years old?
- She no longer loves pink! Yay!
- She likes her first year at Diefenbaker and didn’t have problems going to school at all.
- She loves to snack! But will still east her vegetables and fruits, and love rice with jap seasoning.
- She’s definitely not as shy as when she was younger, and seems to make friends more easily at school.
- She is always happy and laughing!
- She still takes off her shoes in the car and dislikes socks.
- She prefers tshirts over long sleeves – even when it’s cold.
- She loves to draw and write.
- She is not as awesome at self play after we moved =(
- She always wake up once or twice a night =( Mostly to go pee.
- She’s quite healthy and rarely gets super sick.
- She loves her little buddies and will sleep with them at night and give them more room on her bed than she has!
- She’s still very sweet to Connor. Whenever she gets something for herself like a treat, she always asks for one for Connor too.
- She loves to sing and can remember lyrics very well!
- She listens quite well as long we you talk to her nicely. Yelling at her or getting mad at her doesn’t work very often.
- She loves gum.
- She is loving her gymnastics and swimming class right now.
- She likes to help me cook.
- She no longer naps, but could probably still use one.
- She loves her monkey bars just like Connor!
- She loves picnics.
- Her best friend is Alexa.
- Her favorite shows are baking competition shows, and american ninja type shows.
- She loves A&W onion rings.
